THINK TWICE ABOUT HIRING A&S ROOFING AND AL PAGANO. Two weeks ago, I hired these folks to roof my home. When my wife and I were at work, one or more employees entered my home and stole a Wii video console and game valued at $330. A police report has been filed. An investigation is ongoing. Owner of A&S Roofing, Al Pagano, has not offered to cover our loss, nor has he acknowledged responsibility. Pagano insists his crew is honest. Pagano sent his foreman, Jose, to provide names of employees so we could give them to police. At that time, Jose stated that on another job two fishing rods were stolen from a customer. Had we known of this problem and Pagano's misrepresentation, we would not have hired A&S Roofing. You may wish to think twice BEFORE you hire them. I will update this should Mr. Pagano cover our loss and acknowledge his problem as well as any resolution should I have to file in small claims court. It's not a big monetary loss, but the fact one of Pagano's employees entered the home without permission and stole something is creepy and annoying.
