Horrible experience

I put off writing this review as long as I could because I hate to have to write a bad review and I never have until now. The puppy I rescued from here was sick. When I got her home she had extremely bad diarrhea. I took her to the vet and found out she had 2 parasites. It took months to clear them out of her system.The fecal tests and medication cost me a chunk of money. I had received paperwork stating that she was in good health. I could understand the rescue not knowing about the parasites if she didn't have such bad diarrhea but it was obvious something was wrong as soon as she went to the bathroom. Then we discovered she had food aggression. She bit my husband which ended up requiring stitches. She is a Lab/Aussie mix. They are usually very sweet breeds so we don't know if something happened to her at the rescue that ended up causing this behavior. We do not give up on dogs we rescue so we are doing everything in our power to work with her on this issue but it has been extremely stressful. Then the final straw has been the refund..or lack thereof..for getting her spade. I sent in all the paperwork required to show that we had taken care of this. We were supposed to get 50.00 back according to the agreement I signed. I sent this in at the end of last month. I waited a week then sent an email asking if they needed anything else from me. I was told that the money would be sent. I have sent many emails since and have still not received the money although I was assured it was going out the next day. Now my email is not even being answered. I am sorry to say this has been a horrible experience. My dog will be taken care of regardless of her issues. We love her with all our heart but it has been gut wrenching and I hope no one else has to go through something like this.
