Am I just unlucky?
So, the first order my family placed with Evike was a few years back. My brother and I were just starting airsoft so we ordered 2 black crossdraw vests. The shipping was pretty fast however the vests we got were OD green and a different size. We called customer support, they let us keep the green ones and sent us the black ones, all was well in the end and we just wrote it up as being a little unlucky but hey it happens. The next order was not as easy to resolve. I ordered a certain law enforcement belt (can't remember the name at the moment) and the belt I got was a totally different belt and not only did I get the wrong belt but I got only half of the accessories for said belt. Called customer service again, this time asked us for pictures, let us keep the wrong belt, then sent us the right one. This time the shipping was slower and the new belt came delivered in an already open package with the accessories all over the box but at least everything was there. The 3rd order was a simple one, just some bbs and supplies, everything went smooth here. And now the 4th order. This incident happened today. I have been wanting the WE MSK for about a year and a half now. I finally got my first job and saved up to buy it. We got free 3 day shipping with a coupon and everything was smooth until it got here. First off, the box had barely any protection. Literally the only packing was one folded piece of brown paper. 2nd, the charging handle was punched through the box. 3rd, when we finally opened the box, the orange tip was shattered and all over the box along with the accessories. The only thing still in place was the rifle which we quickly found out was the wrong rifle. I ordered a regular WE MSK in black. I was sent a Battlefield Edition that was scratched and looked like something out of the airsoft boneyard. We called customer service and spoke with Raphael who didn't sound the least bit interested with our issue. We told him our situation and filled out a return form. We got the RMA much later than expected and we are sending it back tomorrow. My current worries are sending it back and getting another Battlefield Edition MSK. They keep referring to the rifle as only a broken item when it is not only broken but also the wrong rifle. It sounds like they just plan on sending another Battlefield Edition. So at this point I'm just wondering if I'm unlucky. I hear all kinds of great things about this company and this is my experience. Anyway, wish me luck with this replacement. Hopefully i get the rifle I ordered. I will update the review when this is all finished.
