FAM brings to the franchising community a very valuable resource: the skill and expertise of seasoned professionals, acting as neutral arbitrators, who have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of both the business and legal context in which franchising operates.
That level of knowledge has, for many years, made me confident in recommending the organization as the "go-to" body for the resolution of franchise disputes, whether by mediation or arbitration. For that reason, it was my suggestion for much of my practice years to suggest that clients utilize FAM as that resource, as well as including such implementing provisions in their agreements.
I can think of no organization that I would recommend more highly for this purpose than FAM.
