orkin pest control. I had mice at my home. i used electronic devices, wooden mouse traps, strip traps, box traps with poison. They worked o.k. I phoned Orken for "further assistance - perimeter poisoning", etc. I wanted a 1-time-call-assistance. When the man came to my home he did no perimeter check outside - only looked in 3 areas of my basement, not the big part of the basement - he saw that I had traps,strips,poison boxes,etc. then he took up my strip - and put a new Orkin strip down; he took MY box with poison, and put another of Orkin's in its place. NOTHING NEW. THEN he said they were charging me $175 for what he did (which was NOTHING) and then he said very 2 months it would be another $100 (when I had only asked for a 1-time-visit).When I called and asked WHY I was being charged on my credit card for the $150 when they did NOTHING NEW - they told me I was "lucky" because normally a 1-time visit was $250.00.They apologized that I was unhappy - that apparently I had been doing everything alreadytraps,strips,poison,etc). but there was nothing they were going to do. Would not make an adjustment in my $175 charge (for 30 minutes). and that's it! I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed to be charged and treated this way!
